Where Does The Hunter X Hunter Anime Leave Off In The Manga
The chapters of the Hunter × Hunter manga serial are written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi and beginning published by Shueisha in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shōnen Bound. The beginning chapter was published on March 2, 1998, with subsequent chapters released with intermittent breaks ranging from i to seven weeks. However, starting in February 2006, the breaks increased dramatically in length, afterward which time a set of at least 10 chapters would exist released. For more information, see the production section on the main article.
An anime accommodation of the series was produced by Nippon Animation and aired on Fuji Television receiver for 62 episodes from Oct 16, 1999 to March 31, 2001. The TV serial is based merely on the start eleven volumes of the manga, equally frequent delays in the publication of the manga and an unwillingness to produce low quality "filler" episodes resulted in a lack of content. Three DVD OVA series were produced by Nippon Animation, adapting subsequent chapters of the manga up to Chapter 185. A new Hunter × Hunter anime accommodation was announced in July 2011. Instead of continuing the story from the OVA serial, it restarted the story from the kickoff of the manga in an attempt to arrange it more accurately. The serial was produced by Madhouse and aired on Nippon Television for 148 episodes from October 2, 2011 to September 24, 2014.
The current manga chapters have been compiled into 36 tankōbon volumes in Nippon by Shueisha. The first tankōbon was released on June four, 1998, the most contempo on Oct 4, 2018.
In English, Hunter × Hunter is licensed for publication past Viz Media as a part of their Shonen Jump Advanced line of graphic novels aimed at older teenagers (age xvi+). However, this imprint has since been dropped and all reprinted volumes no longer have the "Shonen Bound Avant-garde" logo. The get-go English language volume was released on April v, 2005, the most recent on August 6, 2019.
